Event Recap

Members of NSYR attended the Lincoln-Reagan Day/Republican Unity Breakfast hosted by the Malden Republican City Committee earlier this week. GOP leaders from across the region assembled for the event which featured an incredible lineup of speakers, including possible candidate for Governor, Charlie Baker, and “the Lone Republican” from the Boston Herald, Holly Robichaud.

As Keynote Speaker, Holly gave a defiant and witty speech addressing the many ways that Democrats have failed the Commonwealth and urging Republicans to run for office. Her message was consistent with the other speakers who also called on local Republican leaders to step up to the plate for 2010 and 2012 offices.

And, in the spirit of President’s Day, we were even surprised with a special guest appearance by Abraham Lincoln, top hat and all, who recited his Gettysburg Address.
